Our club's volunteer Amateur Radio operators help our community in good times and bad, through community events, disaster response, and various programs. Attached is a document with additional information on Public Service Communications.

Join us for the weekly Public Service Net held each Thursday at 19:00 HST. We do one round of comments from those that check in. One Fldigi message is transmitted at the beginning of each net, using MT-63. If you would like to take a turn at being the NCS operator for this net please email Tad Miura, NH7YS, Kauai RACES Coordinator at ZSSQ@hotmail.

There is also the monthly Siren Net held the 1st work day of the month at 11:30 HST on the Kauai Repeaters.

Simplex Plan
If you encounter a disruption of normal communication methods such as cell phone, landline, and internet service, try to access the repeater in your area. If the repeater is not operational, use the assigned primary VHF simplex frequency for your district. Attached is a document that describes the assigned simplex frequesncies for each area in Kauai.
