Aloha and welcome to Kaua`i and the Kauai Amateur Radio Club (KARC) Web Page. We are a small group of amateur radio operators who have a common interest in all aspects of amateur radio operation. On our web page you will see some of our current activities.

All visiting hams are invited to join us. Our club meeting is the first Monday of the month at 18:00 HST at the Kauai Island Utility Coop Conference Room, 4463 Pah'e St., Lihue, HI or join us on our regular Monday Night Net, each Monday night at 20:00 HST on 146.92 MHz or our linked repeaters at 147.16 MHz, 146.70 MHz, or 147.10 MHz.

We also meet for breakfast on Saturday mornings to visit and talk ham radio. It's an informal event; all are welcome. We meet at Kalapaki Joe's Kukui Grove, 3-2600 Kaumuali'i Hwy, Lihue, HI starting at 07:30 HST

The recent false alarm incident happened to occur at the moment NBC news
was conducting an extensive interview at Hawai'i Emergency Management.
Here is the video that talks about how amateur radio is the one medium
that "prevails when all else fails." Have a look.
